In 2021, Russia's first Cryptography Museum will open in Moscow. The past, present and future of cryptography, mathematics and related disciplines will be presented to a wide audience. The Museum of Cryptography will become a new point of attraction on the map of the city — a place where it is accessible and easy to talk about the development of modern technologies. The building in which the Museum of Cryptography will be located will open its doors to the general public for the first time. In the Soviet years, it was the famous "sharashka" in Marfino, where scientists developed equipment for encrypting telephone communications. Multimedia exhibits, infographics and interactive islands of the look&feel format, as well as rare copies of scientific works will become an important part of the museum.
The creation of some significant elements of the Museum's exposition is carried out with the direct scientific and methodological support of the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation.
